Life is a composition; Not a journey...

Life is a composition; Not a journey...

Last week we spoke about electromagnetism. This week we relate music to our personal resonance and vibration for success. This is a post from my personal blog (link above)

Think of your life as a musical composition and you are a note or an instrument in the song. Side note: I caught Keys' Instagram live this A.M. and he definitely has strong musical talent. His brother Basheer does too! Check him out here.

When you listen to or create music, you don't go into it with the intention to hurry and reach the end of the song, like how you do when you're on a journey. You listen to or make the song with the intention to create a feeling or a specific sound.

This is how life should be lived. Like a song you think of as a classic. You love it from beginning to end.

You find your favorite lyrics, melodies, and harmonies that you can sing along to or create memories to.

Harmonies are best when there are multiple notes that sound great together. In order to become harmonic with your ideal life, you have to blend in well with the other notes in the song.

A harmonic and relatable SOUND is what makes music a success, right? And a great sound comes from consistent practice and the habit to make your song sound exactly how you want it to.

Success is a habit, sure. And you can reach a point where its second nature. BUT there are things that you are experiencing that seem like success is fleeting or you just can't seem to SHIFT certain areas in your life.

Its almost like you're playing a game, or an instrument, and no one showed you how to play it.

You seem to always get the same results no matter what you change about yourself.

But to pick up this habit of second nature success, you have to have the right mindset which gives you the right resonance or vibration. We hear this so much so it seems redundant.

You can force things and hang on to your old self while adopting new habits, but these eventually wear off.

Successful people do certain things consistently, and that's why they achieve a higher degree of success than most other people.

But there's more to it than that. It's not just a matter of doing certain things over and over again given certain circumstances. You have to have a full detox to release the weight of your downfalls..

That's the main reason for this short post. I am beginning a series for detoxing your mind and body so that you can create space for your new, harmonic sound!

So clearly, there are more than just mindset issues going on here. Using the right VIBRATION or TONE in your experience is key to a harmonic experience.

The best way to get an instrument, aka YOU, in alignment with the composition, there must be a certain level of theory, skill, tuning, and PRACTICE involved.

It takes time but time will pass regardless. But this time your sound will be different. Your music will have a certain bop to it. You will be the song that becomes the classic or the song that tops the charts!

But remember, you can be the number one song on the charts and some will still not want to hear it be played. This is why a firm belief in self is key.

SO stick around for more posts about this tune up you finna get!

Speaking of music, who are some of your FAVORITE artists? Let me know in the comments :)

I love classics by Erykah Badu, Sade, Jill Scott, etc but my newer artist list includes Iman Omari, Masego, SiR, Alex Isley, Blaque Tuxedo, Lucky Daye, 6Lack, Teyanna Taylor, Snoh Aalegra, Jhene, and I love LoFi music as well.

I think you can get an understanding of the vibe I like!

You are so right, it does require a full detox or two because sometimes the first detox doesn’t get rid of all the “stuff”.
I like your artiist. I love Badu, Scott some others include Lauryn Hill, Anthony Hamilton, Maze, Earth, Wind and Fire, Brandy, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Anita Baker, Levert, Patti Labelle, Najee, Rachelle Ferrell. I could go on and on. Great Article, once again.
